One of the neighborhood children, an entrepreneurial lass who is a really delightful kid, asked me very sweetly today if she could set up a lemonade stand outside the store. How could I not agree, especially on such a scorcher of a day?
I got a kick out of having her there this afternoon and was happy to hear that she’d like to stage a repeat next Saturday; come have a refreshing glass and support Greenpoint business, of every variety!
