Welcome Galileo…
This little scamp bounded in the front door a couple months ago, ironically enough on the anniversary of the date that my best friend and I took ownership of 19 Greenpoint and I embarked on my Le Grenier adventure… He was a tiny, terrified stray kitten, and he hid underneath my back deck for ages. After weeks of feeding him through the floorboards I began despairing of him ever emerging… but emerge he did! He has metamorphosed into a veritable Store Cat, and is a super hammy one at that. You can find him every day blissfully purring in his little basket on my counter, wreaking havoc in the garden’s herb planters, or sunning himself in the window displays.
Yep, seems like we have our own mascot — with an expanding fan base… Last weekend a couple came back to the store just to cuddle with this sweet little beast!
